Well, it was a "proper castle."  Having booked everything sight unseen, as time drew closer we began to wonder about our choice of both venue and wedding planners.  In short, we couldn't have been happier with the wedding day. So many aspects went superbly:We loved the caterer- from the first tasting he was warm and willing to work with us to ensure we had the best possible menu for us and our guests;The flowers were beautiful; the planner was very helpful with everything from the legalities of getting married in Italy to ensuring that the hairdressers understood our detailed instructions;The string quartet was amazing, right down to pausing in-between courses so that people could toast and give speeches.  We even had an opera singer!  Our wedding in Italy was an unforgettable experience for us and our guests.
