From ROMA take the Grande Raccordo Anulare, (GRA) take it direction North, you will have to follow it for quite a while until you will see the sign FIRENZE keep following the sign and you will have to leave the G.R.A. and take the highway A1 to Firenze. Take the exit ORTE (after less than 100 km) and follow the sign to PERUGIA on the freeway E45 . Once you have left the E45, pass PERUGIA after 20 km you will see the lake, take the second exit PASSIGNANO EST, turn left following signs for CASTEL RIGONE. At that point you will have the highway and lake on your right and the hills on your left. After about 1.5 km turn left following signs to CASTEL RIGONE, after a few curves (300 meters) you will see a Monteluce on your right (there is a sign CASALE MONTELUCE).

From FIRENZE take the A1 direction ROMA. After about 1 hour driving take the exit BETTOLLE VAL DI CHIANA and follow signs for PERUGIA and for LAGO TRASIMENO. Than take the exit PASSIGNANO EST, turn left following signs for CASTEL RIGONE. At that point you will have the highway and lake on your right and the hills on your left. After about 1.5 km turn left following signs to CASTEL RIGONE, after a few curves (300 meters) you will see a Monteluce on your right (there is a sign CASALE MONTELUCE).

The nearest train station is in Passignano (2 km from the Castle). But the only one connected directly with Florence and Rome is TERONTOLA (20 km from the Castle). From TERONTOLA there are many trains for PASSIGNANO. We suggest our guests to reach the Castle by car.
