From Rome take the Grande Raccordo Anulare, (GRA) take it direction North, you will have to follow it for quite a while until you will see the sign FIRENZE keep following the sign and you will have to leave the G.R.A. and take the highway A1 to Firenze. Take the exit ORTE (after less than 100 km) and follow the sign to PERUGIA on the freeway E45 . Once you have left the E45, pass PERUGIA and after 20 km you will see the lake, take the first exit TORRICELLA, turn left and you will see the Castle on your right, go through a chain gate to take the tree line and follow the road on the right to the Castle.
From Florence take the A1 direction ROMA. After about 1 hour driving take the exit BETTOLLE VAL DI CHIANA and follow signs for PERUGIA and for LAGO TRASIMENO. Than take the exit TORRICELLA,turn right, cross the railway and at the end of the street turn right, corss the railway again, pass under a bridge and at the end of the street turn left, pass the Hotel il Gabbiano and take the third road on the right which is the tree line of the castle. Keep right.

The nearest train station is in Passignano (2 km from the Castle). But the only one connected directly with Florence and Rome is TERONTOLA (20 km from the Castle). From TERONTOLA there are many trains for PASSIGNANO. We suggest our guests to reach the Castle by car.
